# How to Keep Your flowers Blooms Fresh

Our luxury floral arrangements are designed using the freshest daily stems. With just a little love and care, you can maximize their beauty and vase life.

### 1. Trim the Stems
Before placing your flowers in water, use clean garden shears or a sharp knife to trim about 2cm off the bottom of each stem at a 45-degree angle. Trimming at an angle increases the surface area for water absorption and prevents the stems from sitting flat on the bottom of the vase.

### 2. Keep it Clean
Always use a squeaky-clean vase filled with cool, fresh water. If your arrangement came in floral foam or a bespoke container, ensure the water levels remain topped up daily.

### 3. Change Water Daily
Flowers love fresh water! Change the water in your vase completely every 24 to 48 hours. This prevents bacteria from growing in the water, which is the main reason flowers wilt early.

### 4. Location is Everything
Display your beautiful arrangement in a cool, draft-free spot away from direct sunlight, air conditioning vents, heating units, and ripening fruit (which releases ethylene gas that ages flowers faster).
